Packing Up!

I can't quite remember taking these pictures. A move is funny like that. There is so much going on, I felt like I lost track of minutes, hours and even days. It is all a blur. But the pictures prove that we did indeed pack up! Silas is 4 months old!

3 Monther Here!

Oh Sweet Little Man, you are already 3 months old. You bring us such joy each day. I love those brown eyes of your that can look so serious and a moment light up with your little giggles. You are such a gift to us. Your daddy, brother, sister and I can't get enough of you! I wish you would stop growing so fast.... 17lbs and 26 inches long. We love you and all those rolls!

The Summer to do list! I would have never imagined that by the end of summer we would be packing up for a move to Arizona! This list is bitter sweet! All the memories of our last summer in California.

Hard Decisions

Today marked the official day that I surrendered my will to move to Arizona. I have been fighting it for days, have cried everyday, multiple times a day and am one very tired mom, wife and friend. I have surrendered my very strong will and trust the Lord will be faithful to provide for my dear family as we head to a very hot and in my opinion not so beautiful Arizona. It's funny how much I hated moving to Valencia 7 years ago. I thought it was hot and ugly here. God revealed beauty in so many ways.... our friendships, our hardships, the golden hills in the hot summer, the old Bouquet Canyon Park with mature trees, the newly built Heritage Park with the climbing hill, the countless bike baths around town, connecting us to other towns, the sweet memories of birthing and raising my babies here with dear friends, the many life lessons learned and yes again, the friends ( I said that, but it is by far the greatest part of Valencia). I am terribly sad and have no idea how God will work this all out. I am anxious for my children's hearts, my heart and our friends hearts. How I pray Dear Children that you will see a life of surrender and faith from your parents. Only God can sustain us and do more than we could imagine. As for the moment, I am grateful to have a submitted heart to the Lord. Boy was that hard, so hard!

June Sixteen!

Tali Bear....how can it be? Today you are five years old! I remember when you were as sweet as can be, little chubby cheeks, beautiful blue eyes and so snuggly. Well, you are still snuggly with beautiful blue eyes but no more chubby cheeks. You are my sweet little ray of sunshine. I love you!

Hand in Hand or Pull, Pull, Pull!

Well Tal, you were not happy about the graduation ceremony. I pulled you up on stage, pulled you over the graduation bridge and pulled you back to your seat. Sometimes honey you need an extra hand, I was glad you wanted my hand. Someday you won't need it anymore! I love you Tali Bear!

Silas is 2 Months Old

It's going to fast little man! You are smiling at us, holding your head up like a big boy and must weigh at least 14 lbs. You are the sweetest baby around!! I love you little buddy!

Auntie Meghan Visits

Yahooo, Auntie Meghan visits! We had such a great time playing with Auntie...the pool, Polly Pockets, Milk Ice Cream, American Girl Shop, The Book Store, Anthropologie and The Ivy. What a great 36 hours!! Thank you Nonnie for the ticket! Thank you Zeb for watching Ari! Thank you Meg for coming!!

Tali's First Car (made by Dad)

Tali and Tim were given the assignment to make a car out of a box for a drive-in movie at school. This is the finished product. I laughed so hard I cried! It is not only the biggest car around but the cute design was so impressive! Tim totally has a creative side to him, I love it! Here's to the best lookin' box car around!! Tali Grace, you have one terrific daddy!
